NILO - Mar del Plata

The NILO wreck in Mar del Plata is a fantastic shallow dive, topping out at just five meters. It’s the remains of a tug vessel, and even in that modest depth, there’s plenty to explore. We’ve found the mast still stands, reaching for the surface, creating some great visual interest. Look closely, and you’ll spot a surprising amount of life clinging to the metalwork – various small fish and invertebrates have made a home out of it. It’s a site that really suits newer divers, or anyone looking for an easy, relaxing dive with a bit of history to it.
