The Rosita M, a fishing trawler that met its end close to the coast, offers a pretty accessible wreck dive for those exploring Mar del Plata. What’s left of the hull and superstructure is well-colonised by local marine life. You’ll spot crabs tucked into crevices and various fish species darting through the rusted metal. It’s not a deep dive, making it a good option for less experienced wreck enthusiasts looking to get a feel for the region’s submerged history. The visibility can vary, so we always suggest checking conditions before heading out.
