SAN SEBASTIAN
Why dive here
With 33+ marine species recorded in the area - including sperm whales - SAN SEBASTIAN offers some of Mar del Plata's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 10-21°C, warmest January, February, March.
San Sebastian is a shallow wreck dive right off Mar del Plata. The wreck sits at just 5 meters, making it accessible for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed dive. We’ve found the stern section mostly intact, with penetration possible for trained wreck divers into the engine room. Keep an eye out for conger eels and octopus sheltering in the exposed metalwork.
