The Santa Catalina lies just off Mar del Plata, an easily accessible wreck at a maximum depth of 4 metres. What’s left of the old tugboat is quite broken up now, but it still offers some interesting exploration for newer divers or those looking for a shallow second dive. We often find conger eels tucked into the remaining hull sections and schools of silversides darting through the rusted metal. It’s a good spot for macro photography if you enjoy hunting for nudibranchs and small crabs.
