The Santa Lucia wreck sits at a shallow 11 meters off Mar del Plata, a stern trawler that went down in 1982. It's an exposed site, so good conditions are key. Penetration is possible for experienced wreck divers, with some tight spots that require good buoyancy. We've seen conger eels poking from the darker corners and schools of hake darting around the superstructure. It's a solid dive for those who enjoy exploring an older, broken-up vessel rather than intact history.
