Mar del Plata might not be the first place that springs to mind for a dive trip, but the Segui wreck offers a genuinely interesting local experience. This is a shallow dive, topping out around 10 meters, making it quite accessible. The wreck itself is a former naval tugboat, and over the years, it's become a thriving artificial reef. We've seen conger eels poking out from crevices and plenty of king crabs scuttling across the deck. It’s a great spot for newer wreck divers to get comfortable exploring an intact structure, or for anyone looking to add a unique South American wreck to their logbook. Visibility can be a bit variable, so pick a calm day if you can.
