With 33+ marine species recorded in the area - including sperm whales - T.1 offers some of Mar del Plata's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 10-21°C, warmest January, February, March.
The T.1 site in Mar del Plata is a shallow wreck, sitting at just two metres. It's classified as dangerous due to its condition, so we'd advise divers to approach with caution and respect. The wreck itself has become home to various small critters, making it an interesting spot for macro photography or a very relaxed, accessible dive. This is a site best suited for very experienced wreck divers who want to try something a little different, or photographers looking for a unique, shallow subject.
