TELEFONO - Mar del Plata

Telefóno, a fishing vessel resting at a shallow 8 meters, is a decent quick dive right off Mar del Plata. The wreck itself is an 18.3-meter steel hull, split and scattered across the seabed, giving you plenty of nooks and crannies to poke around in. We usually find schools of silversides swirling through the broken sections, sometimes a shy conger eel tucked into a shadowy corner. Visibility can be a bit variable here, but on a good day, it’s a relaxed drift over the remains, suitable for newer divers or anyone just wanting to get wet and see some local fish. It’s not a deep expedition, but it’s a solid local wreck for a casual afternoon.
