Rochedos dos Calhaus gives you a good feel for Arraial’s underwater character. It’s a solid pick for divers who appreciate the subtler beauty of the Atlantic. We often spot Noronha wrasse darting between the rocks and groups of Caesar and Black Margate cruising by. The Great Star Coral here forms some impressive structures, providing plenty of nooks for Bastard Soldierfish and Puffers. It’s a comfortable dive, not too deep, and generally free from strong currents, making it an easy recommendation for less experienced divers or those looking for a relaxed second dive.
