Naufragio Germania - Salvador & Bahia

Queens Reef is one of our go-to Rarotonga sites, especially when conditions get a bit shifty around the southern passages. It’s an easy drift along a wall that drops sharply, disappearing into the blue below our 22-meter max. What we love about Queens is the sheer health of the coral – big, colourful formations that feel genuinely untouched, something you don't always get in such an accessible spot. You’ll find yourself constantly scanning the wall for Undulated Morays peeking from crevices, or the distinctive silhouette of a Horned Bannerfish. Look out into the blue for bigger stuff passing by; we’ve had some cracking encounters with jacks here. Visibility is often 25 metres plus, and the sunlight filtering through the water just makes the colours pop. It’s a beautifully relaxing dive, perfect for photographers wanting to take their time, or anyone looking to enjoy a quintessential Pacific reef without any fuss.
