KangaruPeru - Lima & Palomino Islands

KangaruPeru, based in Lima, really focuses on the Palomino Islands, which is where you'll do most of your diving here. If you’re looking to get serious about your dive career, they’re one of the few places in Peru offering instructor training. The water can be chilly, so a decent 7mm suit is a good idea, even in summer, but the draw here isn't warm water or colourful reefs. We love the chance to get in the water with the sea lions—they’re playful, curious, and make for a truly unique dive experience. Just be ready for lower visibility, typically around 5-10 metres, and often a fair bit of surge.
