Takat Karangan Besar - Bali

Harbour Reef, up in Québec, is a freshwater site, which is always a bit of a curveball for those of us used to salt. You’ll find yourself finning over a surprisingly varied bottom here, with small patches of coral. It’s a good spot to just slow down and observe some of the local residents – think pumpkinseed sunfish darting through the shallows and the occasional yellow perch keeping watch. Keep an eye out for sea lampreys too; they’re definitely unique to encounter. This site is probably best suited for divers looking for a relaxed, easy dive, maybe to test out new gear or just enjoy a quiet afternoon underwater without the typical ocean hustle.
