With 203+ marine species recorded in the area - including manta rays, mobula rays (devil rays), pygmy seahorses, sea turtles and sperm whales - Buginang offers some of Komodo's richest reef diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest April, May, November.
Buginang, in Komodo, delivers a solid reef dive. We usually find a healthy coral slope here, alive with reef fish like triggerfish and sweetlips darting in and out. It’s not one of Komodo’s adrenaline sites, but a comfortable drift or anchor dive, good for those looking for a relaxed exploration of a typical Komodo reef.
