Gindang - Komodo

Gindang might not get the same press as some of Komodo’s more famous sites, but we always find something to enjoy here. It’s a good spot for a relaxed drift, often with decent visibility, where you can let the current carry you over the reef. Look closely for the smaller stuff – we’ve spotted tiny Yellowspotted Dottybacks darting among the corals and the unusual Shimada's Pygmygoby. Keep an eye out too for larger pelagics like Indian mackerel cruising by. It’s a solid choice when you want a pleasant dive without the intense currents often found elsewhere in the park.
