Why dive here
With 203+ marine species recorded in the area - including manta rays, mobula rays (devil rays), pygmy seahorses, sea turtles and sperm whales - Karang Lambelamberi offers some of Komodo's richest reef diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest April, May, November.
Karang Lambelamberi sits in the vibrant waters of Komodo, a solid reef dive. We've often found it a good spot for seeing a consistent collection of reef fish, without the strong currents that sometimes characterise other Komodo sites. It’s a reliable pick for a second dive or when you’re after something a bit more relaxed, making it suitable for divers who prefer a calmer pace.
