Why dive here
With 203+ marine species recorded in the area - including manta rays, mobula rays (devil rays), pygmy seahorses, sea turtles and sperm whales - Karang Limpogeh offers some of Komodo's richest reef diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest April, May, November.
Karang Limpogeh is a substantial reef within the Komodo National Park, known for its healthy hard coral formations. We've seen plenty of reef fish here, though nothing particularly unusual. It’s a solid dive for those who appreciate healthy reefscapes and a relaxed pace, without the intense currents often found at other Komodo sites. A good choice for a second or third dive of the day.
