With 203+ marine species recorded in the area - including manta rays, mobula rays (devil rays), pygmy seahorses, sea turtles and sperm whales - Karang Tintingan offers some of Komodo's richest reef diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest April, May, November.
Karang Tintingan is a solid drift dive, typical of Komodo. You’ll sweep past walls of hard coral, often with reef sharks cruising through the blue. Keep an eye out for schooling fusiliers and jacks. It’s a good spot for intermediate divers who are comfortable with some current.
