With 203+ marine species recorded in the area - including manta rays, mobula rays (devil rays), pygmy seahorses, sea turtles and sperm whales - North Komodo offers some of Komodo's richest reef diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest April, May, November.
North Komodo offers a range of sites, each with its own character. You'll find drift dives along reef walls and through colourful hard coral gardens, often with a good chance of seeing reef sharks and manta rays. It's generally suited to intermediate divers comfortable with some current, though calmer bays are available for less experienced divers. Visibility tends to be reliable, often 20 metres or more.
