With 203+ marine species recorded in the area - including manta rays, mobula rays (devil rays), pygmy seahorses, sea turtles and sperm whales - Pulau Khayangan offers some of Komodo's richest reef diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest April, May, November.
Pulau Khayangan in Komodo offers a relaxed coral reef dive. We've found the reef slopes gently, with a good spread of hard and soft corals. It's a nice spot for a second dive of the day, or for divers who prefer a slower pace to really take in the reef’s details. Currents here are usually mild, making it a comfortable experience.
