With 203+ marine species recorded in the area - including manta rays, mobula rays (devil rays), pygmy seahorses, sea turtles and sperm whales - Tinabo Island offers some of Komodo's richest diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest April, May, November.
Tinabo Island offers a mellow dive, good for shaking off the travel rust or for less experienced divers. We often find schooling fusiliers here, along with the occasional reef shark patrolling the deeper sections. It’s a pleasant drift, generally without strong currents, making it a comfortable introduction to Komodo's diving. A reliable spot for a relaxed second or third dive of the day.
