With 246+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue-spotted stingrays, bull sharks, grey reef sharks, manta rays and mobula rays (devil rays) - Ceningan Channel offers some of Lombok & Gili Islands's richest drift diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest April, May, November.
Ceningan Channel is a drift dive that delivers a solid hit of current. You’ll be propelled past walls and slopes, with a good chance of spotting reef sharks and various pelagics out in the blue. It’s a site best suited for experienced divers comfortable with stronger flows and keeping an eye on their depth.
