Gili Sanctum - Lombok & Gili Islands

Gili Sanctum offers a relaxed drift over a mix of sand and seagrass beds, perfect for a chill morning dive. We usually spot a couple of Blue-spotted Stingrays here, sometimes even an Australian Bluespotted Maskray tucked into the sand, and the Pink anemonefish are always a delight amongst their swaying homes. It’s a good spot for newer divers getting comfortable with currents, or for anyone who enjoys slowing down and spotting the smaller stuff, like the shy Seastar Shrimp. While the coral isn't as dramatic as some other Gili sites, the healthy patches of table and staghorn coral provide shelter for plenty of reef fish, and a dusky shark occasionally cruises through the deeper sections.
