With 246+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue-spotted stingrays, bull sharks, grey reef sharks, manta rays and mobula rays (devil rays) - Halik s reef offers some of Lombok & Gili Islands's richest reef diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest April, May, November.
Halik's Reef offers a gentle drift along a sloping coral garden, making it an easy dive for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed experience. You’ll typically see plenty of reef fish, often turtles munching on corals, and sometimes a passing reef shark in the blue. Currents are usually mild, though they can pick up, providing a bit more pace for a drift. We find it’s a good spot to unwind and watch the reef go by.
