Jack Point - Lombok & Gili Islands
Jack Point, over on the Lombok side, is a decent little spot if you’re looking to get away from the Gili crowds for an afternoon. It’s not going to blow your fins off, but we’ve had some pleasant drifts here. The real star is the sheer amount of Staghorn coral, honestly, it’s everywhere, providing plenty of nooks for Pink anemonefish to hide. Keep an eye out for Blue-spotted Stingrays nestled in the sandy patches and a few Fluted clams tucked into the reef. It’s a good, easy dive, probably best for those looking for a relaxed photo op or a second dive after something more energetic.
