little shark - Lombok & Gili Islands

Little Shark is a pretty reliable spot if you’re hoping for a reef shark encounter in the Gili Islands. You’ll usually find them resting on the sandy bottom, sometimes tucked under a coral head, but we’ve also seen them cruising along the reef edge. Keep an eye out for the resident blue-spotted stingrays too, often half-buried in the sand nearby, and the pink anemonefish dancing in their anemones. It’s a gentle dive, mostly over a mix of seagrass and various staghorn coral formations, making it a good choice for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed afternoon.
