With 246+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue-spotted stingrays, bull sharks, grey reef sharks, manta rays and mobula rays (devil rays) - Lombok Dive offers some of Lombok & Gili Islands's richest reef diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest April, May, November.
Lombok Dive, off the main island, often gets overlooked for the Gilis, but it’s a solid option for a relaxed morning dive. We usually see a decent number of whitetip reef sharks cruising the sandy bottom, and the staghorn coral here is extensive, providing plenty of nooks for smaller critters. Keep an eye out for blue-spotted stingrays tucked into the sand and the occasional fluted clam showing off its iridescent mantle. It’s a good spot if you’re staying on Lombok and prefer a quieter dive without the Gili crowds.
