Lutwala Dive - Lombok & Gili Islands

Lutwala Dive, on the northern tip of Gili Trawangan, is a mellow spot. We often use it as a training site, which means it’s pretty forgiving, but don't write it off for a fun dive. The shallow reef here has some decent patches of staghorn coral, and we've spotted small giant clams tucked amongst them. Keep an eye out for seastar shrimp if you’re into the macro stuff. It’s a good choice for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed afternoon dip, especially when the currents elsewhere are picking up.
