Malang offers a genuinely pleasant dive, especially if you appreciate a well-established coral landscape. We often find ourselves drifting over extensive beds of staghorn coral, a real nursery for smaller reef fish. Keep an eye out for blue-spotted stingrays tucked into sandy patches, and if you’re lucky, a whitetip reef shark might cruise by. It’s a site that rewards a slow pace, letting you absorb the detail rather than chasing big pelagics.
