Manta Point, Sekar Kuning - Lombok & Gili Islands

Manta Point, Sekar Kuning, off Lombok, is exactly what it says on the tin. We’re talking shallow, sandy bottom at around 17 metres, perfect for newer divers or those who just want to chill out with some big rays. We’ve had good luck here in the mornings, sometimes seeing a couple of reef mantas cruising through for a clean. It’s not a guaranteed spectacle, but when they show, it’s a calm, easy encounter. Keep an eye out for other pelagics too, sometimes a reef shark or eagle ray will make an appearance.
