Why dive here
With 246+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue-spotted stingrays, bull sharks, grey reef sharks, manta rays and mobula rays (devil rays) - Pyramids offers some of Lombok & Gili Islands's richest diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest April, May, November.
Pyramids, near the Gili Islands, is a site built around a series of artificial reef structures. Concrete pyramids and other shapes provide shelter for a good variety of reef fish and invertebrates. It’s a popular spot for divers getting comfortable with currents and often offers chances to spot turtles and reef sharks passing through. We like it as a second dive, a relaxed potter around after a drift.
