With 246+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue-spotted stingrays, bull sharks, grey reef sharks, manta rays and mobula rays (devil rays) - Segaluh offers some of Lombok & Gili Islands's richest reef diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest April, May, November.
Segaluh is one of those spots that often gets overlooked, sitting just off Lombok. We've found it to be a decent drift, the current usually carrying you along a sloped reef. You'll see plenty of staghorn coral, it dominates the landscape here, alongside some healthy table corals and even a few boring clams tucked into the reef. Keep an eye out for whitetip reef sharks cruising past in the blue. It's a relaxed dive, good for an easy afternoon, especially if you're looking for something a bit quieter than the Gili T sites.
