Shark Point - Lombok & Gili Islands
Shark Point is one of those sites you hear about before you even arrive in the Gilis. We’ve had some cracking dives here, particularly in the mornings before the boat traffic picks up. The reef slopes gently, dotted with robust table corals and plenty of staghorn, creating a good home for blue-spotted stingrays tucked into sandy patches and small giant clams wedged in the rocks. Keep an eye out for whitetip reef sharks cruising the deeper sections, often resting on the seabed. It’s a solid dive for those comfortable with a bit of current, offering a reliable chance to see some impressive residents.
