Simons Reef, off Lombok, offers a decent dive for those exploring the Gilis. We often see it as a good, solid drift, perfect for watching the reef flow past. You’ll spot plenty of staghorn corals, some of them really putting on a show, and keep an eye out for the fluted clams tucked into crevices. It's a relaxed site, good for knocking out a few dives, and on a lucky day, a whitetip reef shark might cruise by.
