With 246+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue-spotted stingrays, bull sharks, grey reef sharks, manta rays and mobula rays (devil rays) - Tanjung Jipun offers some of Lombok & Gili Islands's richest diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest April, May, November.
Tanjung Jipun offers a straightforward dive, generally calm and suitable for newer divers finding their fins. We’ve found decent hard coral formations here, though nothing spectacular. Keep an eye out for smaller reef fish darting between the bommies. It's a relaxed option if you're looking for a low-key afternoon dive.
