Teluk NBoro - Lombok & Gili Islands

Teluk NBoro, off Lombok's coast, offers a different flavour compared to the Gili Trawangan bustle. While it might not blow your hair back with huge pelagics, we often find ourselves relaxing into the slower pace here. We've regularly spotted blue-spotted stingrays tucked into the sandy patches, and the staghorn corals, though present elsewhere, seem to stretch out further here, creating some nice backdrops for our photos. Keep an eye out for whitetip reef sharks cruising by in the deeper sections, and if you’re patient, you might even catch a glimpse of the dusky sharks that occasionally pass through. It’s a good spot for a relaxed dive, especially if you appreciate healthy hard coral formations and aren't chasing the big ticket items.
