Turtle Snorkeling Spot - Lombok & Gili Islands

The name really gives it away. Turtle Snorkeling Spot, just off the Gili Islands, delivers exactly what you’d hope for: turtles. It’s a popular spot for a reason, and you'll often find green sea turtles and hawksbill turtles grazing on the seagrass beds or resting on the sandy bottom. The coral here is mainly staghorn, with some pretty impressive formations, and we’ve spotted small giant clams tucked amongst the branches. Pink anemonefish flit through their hosts, and you might even catch an Australian bluespotted maskray gliding past. This site is ideal for snorkelers and newer divers looking for a relaxed, reliable encounter with the Gili’s most famous residents.
