Turtle Snorkeling Spot, just off the Gilis, is exactly what it sounds like. We’ve found it’s a reliable shallow reef for spotting green and hawksbill turtles munching on seagrass or just cruising by. While the coral cover is a bit of a mix, you’ll definitely see some impressive stands of staghorn coral and big table corals, plus the occasional fluted clam. It’s perfect for a relaxed snorkel or an easy first dive, especially for those who really want to tick off a turtle encounter.
