With 236+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, manta rays, mobula rays (devil rays), pygmy seahorses and sea turtles - Blue Magic offers some of Raja Ampat's richest pinnacle diving. Water ranges 29-30°C, warmest May, November, December.
Blue Magic lives up to its name. It's an unassuming-looking seamount, but the deeper you go, the more it delivers. We’ve had incredible encounters here, particularly with manta rays that glide in for a clean. It’s a good spot for some pelagic action, often seeing reef sharks cruising the edges and schools of fusiliers moving like liquid silver. Keep an eye out for smaller stuff too, particularly the pygmy seahorses tucked into gorgonian fans if you’re diving with a good guide. It’s not an advanced dive, but some current experience helps as it can pick up.
