Friwen Laut - Raja Ampat

Friwen Laut is one of those Raja Ampat sites we often find ourselves drifting over, usually when the bigger names are a little too busy. It’s a gentle, sloping reef, not too deep, maybe 15 metres at its most interesting parts, making it a good choice for newer divers or those who just want a relaxed second dive. You’ll find plenty of clown anemonefish tending their homes, of course, and we’ve spotted more than a few Pygmy seahorses here if you know where to look. Keep an eye out for dragonets on the sandy patches, particularly in the shallows if the current is mild.
