Imbekwan Bommies - Raja Ampat

Imbekwan Bommies is one of those Raja Ampat sites where you spend a lot of time with your nose close to the reef. While it doesn't have the big pelagic action of some other spots, the density of unusual critters here is genuinely impressive. We’ve found Freckled Anglerfish tucked into coral heads and Bugeye Dottybacks peeking from crevices. Keep an eye out for Broadband Flatheads camouflaged on the sand patches between the bommies. It’s a great site for macro photographers or anyone who enjoys a slower, more deliberate dive.
