Manta Point in Raja Ampat is exactly what it sounds like: a good spot for mantas. We often find ourselves just kneeling on the sandy bottom, watching these magnificent creatures glide past. Sometimes they’re alone, sometimes in groups of three or four, circling the cleaning station. We’ve had dives where we saw over a dozen reef mantas pass through. Beyond the main show, keep an eye out for the smaller stuff – blennies are always zipping around, and we’ve even spotted a few pygmy seahorses tucked away in the corals nearby. It's a relaxed dive, mostly about observation, making it a good fit for all experience levels as long as you're comfortable with a bit of current.
