Mike's Point - Raja Ampat
Mike’s Point in Raja Ampat offers a solid dive, especially if you appreciate the smaller stuff. We usually drop onto a reef sloping gently from about 3 metres down to 30, often with a decent current pushing us along. Look closely among the bommies for Denise’s pygmy seahorses, though they’re masters of disguise. The sheer volume of blue-lined surgeonfish can be impressive, sometimes forming walls. We’d suggest this spot for divers who enjoy a drift and like taking their time to spot the less obvious residents, like the occasional slender snake eel peeking out from the sand.
