With 236+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, manta rays, mobula rays (devil rays), pygmy seahorses and sea turtles - Yenkoranu Jetty offers some of Raja Ampat's richest reef diving. Water ranges 29-30°C, warmest May, November, December.
We’ve found Yenkoranu Jetty to be a pleasant, low-key dive, particularly good for macro lovers. Descending along the jetty’s pylons, you’re quickly into a world of small wonders. Look closely for Denise’s pygmy seahorses, often tucked into gorgonians, and the vibrant flash of Flame Cardinalfish hovering in the shadows. It’s a shallower site, generally 5 to 20 metres, making it a relaxed option when you’re looking for a longer bottom time and a chance to truly slow down.
