With 238+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, giant moray eels, pygmy seahorses, seahorses and sperm whales - Gabet offers some of Sulawesi's richest reef diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest June, October, November.
Gabet, on Sulawesi, is a solid choice for a drift dive. We often find ourselves gliding past walls covered in soft corals here, with plenty of schooling fusiliers and the occasional reef shark cruising by in the blue. It’s a good spot for intermediate divers who appreciate a relaxed current and want to cover some ground underwater.
