With 238+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, giant moray eels, pygmy seahorses, seahorses and sperm whales - Sabora 1 offers some of Sulawesi's richest reef diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest June, October, November.
Sabora 1 sits off Sulawesi, a good spot for a relaxed dive. We've often found ourselves drifting along a gentle slope here, watching for the usual reef suspects – parrotfish, angelfish, the odd turtle. It’s a straightforward dive, nothing too challenging, which makes it perfect if you’re looking for a simple afternoon in the water without any fuss. Good for getting your fins wet and shaking off the travel.
