Arus Balee - Sumatra

Arus Balee gives you a good cross-section of what Sumatra offers without overwhelming you. It's a reliable spot for macro enthusiasts, with plenty of those little yellow-red pygmygobies darting around and the occasional spotted toby or orange-spotted blenny tucked away. We often find brownbanded wrasse picking through the staghorn coral, and if you’re patient, a dwarf moray might peek out. It’s a comfortable dive, nothing too strenuous, ideal for getting back into things after a travel day or for those who prefer a more relaxed pace. You won't find huge pelagics here, but the sheer number of smaller reef fish, like scissortail sergeants and Pacific gregory, always keeps things interesting.
