D'Lagoon - Perhentian Islands

D'Lagoon is a mellow dive off Perhentian Besar, often a good first splash for new arrivals or a relaxed second dive. The site is a mix of hard corals like organ pipe and honeycomb, with some bubbly soft corals tucked in between. We often see the usual suspects here – pinkfish darting about, greenfish grazing, and a few different curryfish species hanging out near the seagrass beds. Keep an eye out for green turtles, they often cruise through, and if you’re lucky, a stonefish might be camouflaged on the bottom. It’s an easy drift or a slow putter, generally with calm conditions, making it a comfortable spot for divers getting reacquainted with their buoyancy.
