SETIA KILAS - Perhentian Islands

Setia Kilas is one of those easy-going Perhentian wrecks, sitting upright and completely intact in just six metres of water. It’s a great spot for an afternoon dive, or even a snorkel, with visibility often stretching to 15 metres. We usually find schools of yellowstripe scad fluttering around the mast, and you can duck into the wheelhouse for a quick peek. Look for the resident moray eel peeking from a pipe. Because it’s so shallow, you can spend a good hour just finning around, watching the reef fish graze on the encrusted hull. It’s a pretty mellow dive, perfect for newer divers getting a feel for wrecks, or anyone just wanting a relaxing float.
