Temple of the Sea - Perhentian Islands

Temple of the Sea is one of those Perhentian sites that feels just right for a relaxed morning dive. We’ve found the currents here are usually pretty mild, making it a good spot for newer divers or those who just want to take their time. You'll drop onto a sloping reef, mostly hard corals like the big, intricate leaf coral formations and some nice patches of bubble coral. Keep an eye out for green turtles grazing near the seagrass beds – we often spot them here. Look closer and you might catch a bicolor nudibranch inching along, or a blackfish darting between the coral heads. It’s a pleasant dive, not overly dramatic, but consistently enjoyable for its gentle pace and resident species.
