Why dive here
With 143+ marine species recorded in the area - including sea turtles and whale sharks - Moonraker offers some of Redang Island's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest April, May, October.
Moonraker offers a pleasant drift over sloping reefs. It’s a good spot for spotting reef sharks cruising the current and the occasional turtle resting among the bommies. We've even been lucky enough to see a whale shark here, though that’s a rare treat. This site is suitable for most diver levels, with depths typically around 15-20 metres.
